First Swap

I have signed up for my very first swap. It's the Bend the Rules Sewing Swap (BTRSswap)! The project is the Pleated Beauty Bag from the Bend-the-Rules Sewing book by Amy Karol. I have had a mean itch to do some sewing and this sounds like a fun way to try a new project. I have made some tote bags but I have never done a lining. Oooooo scary! Can't wait to try it. Now that I am thinking about it I have never made anything from the book. I think I just stare at the pictures periodically. Well I will stare no more. Time to dig in. Well I guess I will really dig in when I get in the same state as my sewing machine. Sign-ups end on March 31st, which is Monday for anyone else who might be interested.

Also I have been trying to set up the button link, but I have not been successful. I lost my WeHo SnB webring button sometime ago. I don't know what the heck I did to lose it. I must not have sewn it on well in the first place. I even don't remember how I put it on. I think Ellen hooked me up. If someone can email me a button tutorial it would be much appreciated. Then I can get my buttons back on my shirt!
